To charge simply place it onto the base in the very obvious slot. If this is a new purchase please allow a short time for the headset to charge before use. That’s it! Power up the phone and the Plantronics base if you have not done so already. Again, the picture below shows how they should be connected. This port is labelled with a small headset icon, it is located next to the Receiver port, please make sure these are put into the correct slots. See the picture below for illustration.Ĭonnect the Plantronics RJ11 cable from the base unit to the Headset port on the back of the T38G. This port should be clearly labelled on the phone. You can’t really go wrong here as they will only fit into one slot on each unit, but the picture below highlights where to connect them.Ĭonnect the RJ12 cable from the EHS36 box to the EXT port on the back of the T38G. Once you have the correct parts ready, the next step is to connect the 3.5mm cable from the Plantronics base unit, to the EHS36 box. They have been labelled for ease of idenitification and grouped according to which box you will find them in -see the key below. The image below shows the contents of each box that will be required for this setup.

If there's an update available, update the headset.Ĥ. Make sure the USB cable is plugged in and once the Plantronics Hub is downloaded you should have a "Notifications" tab. Unplug the AC power from the charging base. See if your headset starts working now and if not, contact us.ġ. After the headset is updated, restart your computer.ħ. If there's an update available, update the headset.Ħ. Wait 10 seconds then replug the AC power and battery back in.ĥ.

Plantronics Savi W700 Series Reset Plantronics Savi W740 and W745ģ. If you have a voip phone, power off the phone for 10 seconds, then plug it back in (If you don't have a voip phone skip this step). Unplug the AC power from the charging base and let it sit for 10 seconds, then replug it back in.Ģ. After your phone is rebooted, plug the AC power and battery back in like normal and see if that fixes what you're experiencing.
